Hi, We're writing to let you know that Friday Folk will be closed this Friday, 24 May. Many people are away for the Bank Holiday weekend. We'll be open again as usual on 31 May with Colin Hume and the Friday Folk Band. www.fridayfolk.org.uk

St Albans hosts a fantastic array of talent on Saturday 18 May. Visiting artists from Newton Massachusetts, Sue Rosen, Bruce Rosen and George Wilson will call and play for a contra dance. Don't miss the chance to enjoy these top-ranking performers, rarely seen outside the USA. The dance is run by Friday Folk and takes place at a new venue, The St Albans High School for Girls, Townsend Avenue, St Albans, AL1 3SJ. It runs from 7:30 to 11:00pm. Tickets are £8 on the door.
